Brave Combat Federation hosted the official weigh-ins for the twelfth edition of the show in Jakarta, Indonesia. Face off between Khalid Taha and Hamza Kooheji drew attention as Taha went back to his Lebanese roots while challenging Kooheji. Both the fighters had started a war of words as they were set to clash in Brave Combat Federation. The bout will take place in the featherweight division which is a weight class above the usual Bantamweight division in which both athletes compete.

Kooheji is so far undefeated in Brave Combat Federation with three straight victories while Taha will be coming out of the only loss in his career. While Kooheji will be facing the pressure to retain his victory before His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Taha also require a victory to bounce back his career. Kooheji had trained for the fight alongside two time Bellator Bantamweight champion Eduwardo Dantas at the KHK MMA Gym which was also the training camp for multiple fighters in the fight card.
